Congratulations to our 2015 Semi-finalists who will be making history by performing in the John Kani Theatre at the world famous Market Theatre!

The line up is as follows:

Wednesday, 3 June:
1. KDVP- Affidavit
2. Greenside - Ruined
3. St Johns - Gums & Noses

Friday, 5 June:
1. St. Bendicts - Simply Put, It's Complicated
2. Parktown Girls - Thunzi
3. ISSA - Ke Motho

Tickets will be available nightly at the door (please note CASH ONLY as the Market Theatre does not have a credit card facility).
Semi's R80 a ticket.

Block booking for more than 20 people is R65 a ticket.

Finals R120 a ticket.
Block booking for more than 20 people is R100 a ticket.

You can pay for them eft into the raps account or you could pay at the door.

The 45th RAPS Schools One Act Play Festival

Johannesburg’s largest and oldest Festival of Youth Theatre is back. In 2015 the RAPS Festival enters into a new partnership with the Market Theatre and the Market Theatre Laboratory, historic home of the bravest and brightest of South African theatre.

 

Lauded as one of the most prestigious youth festivals, RAPS promises to offer participants and the community at large an unforgettable experience. The festival, which boasts Alumni such a Naledi winner Jonathan Roxmouth, will be held at the Market Laboratory Theatre from 20 May to 6 of June.
